Community members can be integral in the success of New Orleans' schools by serving as board members at public charter schools. If you're a passionate New Orleanian looking to make a difference in public education, we need you to be a board member.
If you are interested in volunteering your expertise, connections, and time to governing a public school, New Schools for New Orleans invites you to visit www.nolapon.org and find a charter school that you are interested in serving and contact the school leader directly. You can also find resources on the Louisiana Association of Public Charter Schools website.
If you are presently a member of a charter school board, NSNO serves as a resource for support and advice on how to function as a successful team.
All community members can positively impact the children of New Orleans by serving on a charter school board. For more information about becoming a board member, click here or contact Neerav Kingsland at neerav@nsno.org.
