School Investments

Since our founding, NSNO has facilitated the launch, expansion, and replication of some of the city’s highest performing charter schools. Our investments help ensure quality school operators and promising entrepreneurs have the resources they need to grow — so that every year, more families have access to more high-quality schools. Since 2007, NSNO has supported the launch or expansion of 31 schools.

Arise Schools operates Arise Academy and Mildred Osborne Charter School, serving grades

Bricolage Academy is located in the Esplanade Ridge neighborhood, and will grow to serve grades K-8.

Choice Foundation runs Lafayette Academy, Esperanza Charter School, and McDonogh 42 Elementary, serving grades Pre-K-8.

Collegiate Academies runs Sci AcademyLivingston Collegiate,  and G.W. Carver Collegiate, serving grades 9-12.

Crescent City Schools operates Akili Academy, Harriet Tubman Charter School, and Paul Habans Charter School, serving grades Pre-K-8.

Cypress Academy currently serves students in grades K-2.

Einstein operates  Einstein Charter School and Einstein Charter School Extension, serving students grades Pre-K-8.

Foundation Preparatory Charter School is located in eastern New Orleans and will grow to serve grades K-8.

Friends of King operates Joseph A. Craig Charter School and Dr. King Charter School, serving grades

Knowledge is Power Program (KIPP) runs ten schools throughout the city, serving grades K-12.

New Orleans College Prep operates Sylvanie Williams College Prep, Cohen College Prep, and Crocker College Prep, serving

Success Preparatory Academy is located in the Treme neighborhood, and serves grades K-8.
